Rain Barrel Kits

 

The LaMoure SCD and NRCS promote the use of rain barrels to collect and save rain water to use on flower and vegetable gardens.  Simply connect a hose from your downspout to a barrel and collect and store all that rain water that would have otherwise ran off your roof.  Runoff water picks up fertilizers, pesticides, oil and other contaminants which can end up in the storm drain and eventually streams and lakes.  Besides helping the environment, they save you money as well!
