Field Trip to McCrory Gardens
Join LaMoure County Soil Conservation District as we adventure down to McCrory Gardens and Arboretum to explore, learn about, and see the beauty and diversity of unique flowers, shrubs and trees with a bonus stop at Redlin Art Center!
Thursday, August 6th, 2026,
depart LaMoure at 6:15 AM and return around 9:30 PM
$25 per Person Includes:
Round Trip Bus Ride from LaMoure to McCrory Gardens
Terry Redlin Art Center Visit
Subway Lunch Meal
Entrance to McCrory Gardens & Arboretum
* NOT included: Supper at Seven Fires
Seats are limited to 50 attendees
If you would like to be part of the Group Garden Tour and/or Group Arboretum Tour, please specify when you RSVP – each Group Tour is limited to the first 25 people. Group Tour is not required – you have the option to see the gardens and arboretum at your own pace. Both tours are walking tours -- if you want to rent a golf cart at your own expense, please contact McCrory Gardens to reserve.
Redlin Art Center will be at your own pace.

· Return to LaMoure around 9:30 PM ·

McCrory Gardens has over 25 acres of formal display gardens featuring hundreds of different flowers, trees, shrubs and grasses, and the arboretum features 45 acres of tree and shrub collections with approximately 1.6 miles of trails. Attendee Information!
We are so happy that you are signed up to join us on this fun trip!
Park and meet in the LaMoure School parking lot located on the north side of the school by 6:15 A.M. Bus will leave at 6:30 A.M sharp!

Please bring a check or cash to pay your $25 fee before loading the bus.
On the bus we will have some small water bottles and granola bars available to passengers, but we encourage you to bring along your own water bottle for the long day and any snacks you might want to have along. Dress for the outdoors and walking, as well as for what the weather forecast predicts.
Lunch/Dinner will include Subway sandwich platters with chips and a cookie, as well as a gluten free salad option for attendees that specified. As we arrive into Brookings, the bus will stop at Subway to pick up food, and we will hand out food on the bus before arriving to McCrory Gardens.
Supper will be at Seven Fires located in Dakota Magic Casino of Hankinson. This meal is not included in the $25 package fee, so this meal will be on your own expense. We will hand out Seven Fires menu on the bus for attendees to review ahead of time.
